I am running 0154 with mac OS X version 10.4.11 (PPC) on a PowerBook. I have recently
updated from a earlier version. With 0154 the following items on the Tab menu no loner work:
New; Rename; Previous Tab; Next Tab. I am however able to import a java class using Sketch
> Add File, which creates the new tab with the following name MyJavaClass.java
Old Sketches created with the previously installed version still show all their tabs when opened
in the new version.

Are any error messages shown?
It seems to be working fine for me if I make a new sketch and then use
"New" to create a new tab. What are the steps to reproduce?

No error messages are shown. The steps to follow are: create new sketch or
open an existing sketch > click on the Tab button > select "New Tab". This
process produces no result - ie no new tab and no option to name the new
tab. The same problem occurs with "Rename", "Previous Tab" & "Next Tab".
"Delete" does however work.

Hm, that's working fine for me, also on OS X 10.4.11 on PPC.
Can you think of anything else that might be going on? Have you installed
all Java updates? Have you installed early access developer releases of
Java? Do other Java programs have trouble?

My current Java install is:
java version "1.5.0_16"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_16-b06-275)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_16-132, mixed mode, sharing)
and according to Apple's Software Update there are no other required
installs for Java at this time. Other Java apps are working fine - I have
particularly checked ones with GUI features. So I am very puzzled too - I
have used multiple tabs in most of my previous sketches?
I have installed no early access developer releases of Java.

The problem has resolved itself on its own. I have changed nothing but
suddenly the tab menu is fully functional again. I have no idea what
caused the original problem or what resolved it?
