Description:   Opened: 2007-12-08 02:46
i have a PNG image that shows a black to transparent gradient, i want to use that as an outline-
brusch to simulate a blured figure with openGL and textures.

the transparency of the file shows up wrong in processing 135 (os-x 10.4, powerbook, java 1.4):
the gradient goes from black to white to transparent. see example attached ..

set the background to red, you'll see the transparency showing through
correctly.

or you're dealing with (non-)bug #176

you are totally right .. problem was that the gradient-tool in photoshop was not black fading
from 100% to 0% but rather black 100% to white 0%. hence the white pixels. sorry!
