i think it would be very handy if the create-font tool would copy the name of the just created
font to the clipboard (including the ".vlw"). .. find myself looking it up everytime since i
allways forget to copy it from the field in the tool.

hit cmd-c (on mac) or ctrl-c (on windows/linux).

thanks, i see.

still think the ".vlw" ending it missing (especially for starteds that don't know that they have to
add it). .. and if the list loses focus it won't copy the name.

is there any reason against having it clipboard the name automatically?

we can't just wipe out someone's clipboard because they've been to the
"Create Font" tool.
