haven't tested on any platforms beside osx, cmd-shift-[ and cmd-shift-]
(next tab and prev tab) cease to work after the popup menu is used that
controls the tabs. this can be infuriating.

not sure if it's 1) my bug 4) specific to
that key combination (i.e. a letter or a number might work fine instead).

fixed for 0122, found another means of working around it.
