In testing both on OS X and on PC, running a Processing sketch or the
resulting applet causes Photoshop to become non-responsive and eventually
crash.

i'm gonna need more details than this.. i use photoshop and processing
together all the time on both mac and pc (and i know i'm not the only one)
and have never run into any such problem. is there anything about your
setup that could be causing trouble? and particular applet? i.e. opengl only?
