I'm using Linux Fedora Core 5 with the latest OpenGL drivers from NVidia
(downloaded and installed direct from them today). I'm using java 1.4.2_10
(that comes with processing) and my graphics card is an NVidia Quadro2 MXR.

Running the processing "OpenGL" matrix example shows a blank white screen
with processing version 0110 and above (I tried them all). There are no
error messages other than "Beginning DRI hack" and "ending DRI hack", which
do not appear on earlier versions of processing.

It works without any problem on processing 0109 and below.

probably a bug in the JOGL beta, i'll be updating to a newer version with
the next release, and we'll see if that fixes things.

may be fixed with the newer version of jogl or the threading changes in 0116.

is this still a problem in recent releases?

closing this bug, seems that it's usually driver related issues.
