used to launch 3 small movies using keycode

when i press play, sound starts automatically, then stops after a second. when
i press te keycodes that run the video files, the files play without sound. (i,
unfortunately, use Windows)

Weird how long-running this problem has been. This is _the_ problem with
processing and video on Windows machines. There have been solutions posted
about every other QT problem that I've encountered and they've all been
resolvable. I work in a
school and want people to switch over from Max/Jitter and we can't because
of this one issue. QT 7 under XP with many different machines (Intel,
Pentiums, all of them) Processing .127, .135. 1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.3.. it just
stays broken for any and all processing installs. Has anyone actually seen
Quicktime w/ audio playback correctly on a Windows machine?

I've not had time to fix it, and nobody else has stepped in to fix it, so
that's where it is. This is the case for most Processing bugs--if I don't
have the time to fix it (based on other higher priority bugs), there's
nobody who's magically going to take care of it.

We're also in the process of replacing this video library with Andres
Colubri's gstreamer-based solution, so that's where all our effort will go
in the future.

closing this bug, because we'll be replacing the current video library with
another sometime later this summer. as such, i won't be doing any more bug
fixes on the current video library. in the meantime, we recommend using
gsvideo, opencv, or one of the other video libraries that are available.
