I recently installed Processing and Snow Leopard. Exemples and Sketchbook menu options in the
Finder window were greyed out. The menubar in the Sketch-windows was not there. I had a look
in the sources and realised that the preferences.txt property apple.laf.useScreenMenuBar needs
to be set to 'false'. In my installation it was 'true'. I changed it to 'false' and I got the menu in
the sketch-window. I am not sure if I got the preferences file now or if I had it since some
earlier install but I suppose it would be a good thing to check during install or startup. I heard it
used to be controllable from the Preferences window but here...

It sounds like you ignored the error message that came up the first time
you ran Processing, which explained the situation.

ok so if this is the case then how does one get those features back. i
obviously dont understand what is going on here. i just want it to work.
the message that i have been getting is:

The sketchbook folder no longer exist Processing will switch to the defualt
sketchbook Location, and will create a new sketchbook folder if necessary.
Processing will then stop talking about himself in the third person.

So HELP!!!! im not the most computer savvy person but want the program.
