The stop button sometimes doesn't stop things properly (especially when
using libraries). Closing the window to shut things down usually works
fine, though even that might lock up sometimes. Make sure you save your
sketches before you run, in case you have to force-quit.
If this happens to you, please post information below on how to replicate,
so that we can get a couple examples of how to test it for a fix.

this was fixed a long while ago (sometime post 0085).
