When trying to compile Processing on my Mac (10.4.11), the build script
failed complaining that the option -X (for copying) was not supported. I
reverted to the previous version of the build script and it built
successfully. (R5504)

bummer, thanks for the note. i've moved to building and testing with 10.5
and i'm not sure if i'll add a workaround for this or just drop 10.4
support, since 85-90% of our users are on 10.5 (and 10.6 is coming this
summer).

k, i've added a warning message for this for future releases.
